The students of the "Master's in Economic Crime and Anti-Corruption Investigation" (MECACI) were able to share with the Director General of European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), Mr. Ville Itälä, the different strategies and areas of action of this important European Office. During the event, participants also attended a brilliant lecture by Mr. Vasil Kirov, Directorate A – Expenditure - Operations and Investigations, entitled "Intelligence and Financial Investigation – Protection of the Economic Interests of the EU and Anti-Corruption."
The "Master in Economic Crime & Anticorruption Investigations" (MECACI), taught by the Centro Universitario de la Guardia Civil (UCO) with the participation of professors from the Unidad Central Operativa (UCO) of Guardia Civil, the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and other entities related to Security and Justice, is an official degree worth 60 ECTS, which meets the quality requirements of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) arising from the Bologna Declaration and is officially recognized in the 49 states of the EHEA.
